We had an awesome Fourth of July. We headed over to the Friendship House for a block party with our friends, rode the ferry across the river to Mardi Gras World, and then watched the fireworks on the riverfront. It was a long, but fun day--and Emma did great! Matt posted some pictures here. Also, if you haven't checked out Matt's blog lately, he posted a couple videos from our trip last weekend. This is your cousin Leslie in Texas. I just stumbled across your blog and have really enjoyed "catching up" with you! Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl.
Do you know where we spent last July 4th? We were on the riverwalk, watching the fireworks with you! We drove from Houston to NOLA on the 4th and spent the night in the Marriott on Canal Street. We watched the fireworks then headed to Cafe du Monde for beignets afterwards.
Small world, isn't it???
We should get our little families together sometime. It would be fun for our kids to meet their distant cousins!
